Volunteer

Disabled Alternative Road Travel Service (DARTS) arranges recreational and educational programs of social activities for adults with physical disabilities who use wheelchairs around the north east of Sydney. Those activities included regular classes, shopping trips, picnics, theatres, harbour and river cruises… Door-to-door transport is provided in our mini buses equipped with hoists.

The trips go to all areas of Sydney and to Wollongong, the Blue Mountains and Central Coast. Each trip may last up to 7 to 8 hours, usually starts at 9:30am and finishes at 4:30pm. But sometimes we run evening trips e.g. from 4pm to 11pm.

Volunteers are needed most days of the week and at weekend, it doesn’t matter how often you are available, if you would like to become one of us, and help those in need, please contact us.
